We are very flexible and enable our volunteers to give as little or as much of their time as they wish to offer. As a WYCE volunteer, YOU decide which time-span suits you.

Finances

Length of stay: Up to 8 weeks. Amount to pay per week: £125

Length of stay: Up to 26 weeks. Amount to pay per week: £115

Length of stay: 27 weeks or over. Amount to pay per week: £105

Payment Schedule

1. A first holding deposit of £50 (together with a £10 administration charge) must be paid in the UK within 2 weeks of receiving our acceptance letter.

2. The remaining balance is to be paid in the UK at least 12 weeks before arrival at the Lodge.

What's Included?

Accommodation for the length of your stay in one of our Lodge's 8 bedrooms (which can accommodate up to 3 people), which includes a comfortable bed fitted with mosquito net, a toilet, a shower, and a washbasin;

3 meals per day served at the Lodge's restaurant;

Pick-up and drop-off at Banjul airport;

And all the other benefits of working and being immersed with an indigenous African community!
