WYCE has committed itself to supplement and compliment the efforts of the Government of the Republic of The Gambia in the provision
of excellent gainful educational opportunities, primary healthcare, life skills and employment facilities for the underprivileged communities
to earn a sustainable decent standard of living in The Gambia.
£20,000 BID FOR SCHOOL
Our most important priority for 2010 is to finish our Early Years Centre. Without it, we will not be able to move the two classrooms
currently used in the Health Centre and will not be able to carry our oldest pupils through to the next stage.
PENNINE WAY FUNDRAISER
On the 29th August, Chris Gordon and George Campbell will set off from Edale in the peak district for one reason only,
to help WYCE continue its excellent work in The Gambia. All the monies raised from this effort will be used to finish their Early Years Education Centre.
BAE Fest is a one-day FREE beach festival taking place on Swansea Bay, South Wales on Saturday 19th September 2009.
WYCE is one of the nominated beneficiaries.
Will you take up the challenge? See some of Britain’s most outstanding natural beauty on Saturday 3rd October 2009.
A slow/comfortable pace suitable for most fitness levels.
We are looking for 12 daring Volunteers who are willing to take up the Challenge of raising a minimum of £350 and travel to ‘The Blue Planet’ Aquarium, Ellesmere Port on Saturday 24th October 2009.
Join us at the WYCE Lodge in Madina Salaam for our 2009 Christmas Bash. We have room for sixteen ex-WYCE volunteers for
a fantastic fun week or fortnight.
We now have 2010 calendars, and recipe books available for sale which would make wonderful presents
and would be a great way to sponsor the project.

We would love to hear from you if you would like to make a donation to the project, either in cash or kind. We are looking for any donations of money, school materials, building materials, catering equipment.

We are looking for people to sponsor the Project in the same way as people would sponsor a child. We can assure you that EVERY PENNY / DALASI that you donate will be used HONESTLY to improve the education of the children of The Gambia.
